Another Island – Phase 2 expands an established collection of holiday rental houses on Antiparos with 6–8 new suites, staff accommodation, shared guest facilities, and back-of-house spaces.
Conceived as yposkafo buildings—partially buried into the landscape—the new suites are designed to minimise visual impact, improve environmental performance, and qualify for the regulatory benefits of this building type.

The architecture prioritises quietness, privacy, and connection to place, with restrained volumes in natural materials stepping into the slope.
Terraced layouts, podiums, and podium-slabs follow the terrain, offering both elevated sunbathing spots and protected shaded areas. The result is a series of minimal, deeply experiential spaces where architecture and landscape merge to celebrate the calmness and beauty of the Cycladic setting.

Each suite is composed of living, sleeping, and bathing areas opening to a single glazed elevation with long views over Agios Georgios Bay, complemented by lightwells that draw daylight deep into the interiors.
These courtyards act as sheltered mini-gardens, blurring inside–outside boundaries and introducing movement, texture, and seasonal variation. Private terraces, pools, and shaded lounge areas extend each unit outdoors, creating varied settings for rest and contemplation.
